Visit the Royal Palace of Madrid With a Guide
On the day of the tour, we'll meet in the vicinity of the iconic Plaza de Oriente, and from there, we'll walk toward the entrance of the Royal Palace of Madrid. Are you ready to visit one of the most important architectural gems of the Spanish capital?
Doubling the size of the Buckingham Palace and the Versailles Palace, the Royal Palace will surprise you with its artistic wealth and history. It's one of the largest palaces in Western Europe!
During the tour, we'll visit the rooms of King Charles III, as well as the Gasparini Hall and the Porcelain Room. Of course, we'll stop in the Royal Chapel, one of the most imposing rooms of the palace due to its architecture and solemnity, and discover the Throne Room, where the treasures of the Spanish monarchy are housed.
One of the most exclusive moments in the tour will be when we see the collection of Stradivarius instruments, the most important musical instrument collection in Europe. You'll feel like true courtiers in the State Dining Room, and we'll put the finishing touch to the visit in the majestic Throne Room, the place where you'll feel the grandeur of Spain's history in all its splendor.
This guided tour of 1.5 to 2 hours will conclude in the Courtyard of the Royal Palace of Madrid. Here, you'll find the Royal Armoury of Madrid, which you can visit at your own pace. Its exhibition, one of the most renowned in Europe, along with the armoury collection in Vienna, houses chain mail, helmets, crossbows, and other weapons. Some of its pieces belong to illustrious kings of the Spanish Crown, such as Emperor Charles V and his son Philip II.
