Turtles, manatees, fish, and even otters! In this Rainbow River diving activity, we'll explore the crystal clear waters of this area of Florida and its biodiversity.
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Suncoast Boulevard, where we'll give you the diving equipment. From this point in Crystal River, you'll have to follow the guide in your own vehicle to Dunnellon, where this diving activity will take place. Ready to dive? Let's go!
Once we arrive at our destination, we'll put on our wetsuits and then give you some basic instructions for the dive before jumping into the water. Did you know that Rainbow River is known for its great biodiversity?
During the dive experience, we'll spot numerous caverns where various types of fish and freshwater turtles hide. Be on the lookout! If we're lucky we may see manatees swimming around in the early hours of the day.
You'll also admire other wildlife and vegetation of the river, which is so abundant thanks to the mild temperatures of around 23ºC throughout the year. It'll be fascinating!
We'll finish this diving activity 4 hours later back at the meeting point in Crystal River.
